Services and therapies
Reflexology
Manual pressure work on the feet. You stay clothed and lie on your back throughout.
What a session involves
Reflexology is a manual therapy in which every system and organ of the body corresponds to a point on the foot, hand or ear, so the whole body can be worked through the feet alone. It is non-invasive, and applies alternating pressure to reflexes to stimulate the neural pathways linking body systems.
It is performed clothed, with only the feet, hands and face exposed. There is no undressing or showering, and you stay on your back for the whole session, which is why most people relax deeply and a good number fall asleep.
It suits people who cannot have full-body massage, cannot comfortably lie face down, are uncomfortable disrobing, are on their feet all day, or have foot problems such as bunions or plantar fasciitis.
Not suitable with certain foot injuries, painful or contagious skin conditions, or peripheral neuropathy and non-healing wounds. Tell us about circulatory problems, blood clots, gout, foot ulcers or a low platelet count before booking.
